HTSC1100 – Oven dirt

HTSC1100 (High Temperature Sealing Compound 1100ºC)

Composition:

Black refractory odorless paste. Made of silicates and minerals. Added graphite for great flexibility and maximum temperature resistance. Does not contain asbestos. Water soluble. Environmentally friendly product composed of only environmentally friendly raw materials. Very little risk of contamination during production, use and possible subsequent disposal.

Areas of use:

Used in cast iron and the aluminum industry where sealing properties at high temperatures are required. Used as filler (joint compound) in the production and repair of cast iron stoves. In the aluminum industry as a seal between flanges and as a seal for smaller leaks in openings/cracks/gaps in environments with high temperatures. Also has several other uses.

Characteristics:

Very good adhesion to metals, concrete and stone. Curing starts when air is introduced. After hardening, the mass becomes rock hard. The curing time depends on thickness and air temperature. Up to thicknesses of approx. 5 mm, the curing time is approx. 24 hours at room temperature. The compound hardens without shrinking or cracking. Withstands temperatures up to 1100C. At higher temperatures, the mass will melt. Does not emit dangerous gases at higher temperatures or fire. Applied mechanically or in compressed air systems. A supplier of systems for compressed air can be obtained by contacting us. The mass is delivered in several viscosities, on request. The pulp has a high specific gravity of approx. 1.8.

Storage:

The pulp freezes, but regains its original consistency when thawed. Should be stored frost-free.

Packaging:

Packed in trowel bottles (350 gr), professional tubes (600 gr), 20 kg pails, 50 kg canisters, half barrels 190 kg and full barrels 390 kg.
